The old mansion of the prominent Spartali family, purchased in May 1892 by the missionary organization known as the ‘Board’ to be used as a ‘Boys’ School’ (for male students). In 1894, the space on the left was also purchased by the same organization to be used as a kindergarten. In the middle of the road, the former ‘Boyaci’ stream, which has been turned into a canal for the waste of leather manufacturers, can be seen. |
