Correspondence between the mayor of Izmir and the French Consulate in 1933 on the decision to halt burials in the Catholic cemetery of Kemer in Izmir (the French Consulate seems to be the only foreign legation acting for this multi-national burial ground) for pubic sanitation purposes.
Letter from 1964 sent from the French Consular General in Izmir Hagues Jean de Dianoux to the acting Consul General of the United States William E. Rau describing in detail the recent vandal destruction of the Protestant (Anglican) cemetery in Kemer. It is not clear if a similar communication was also sent to the British Consul General at the time (Richard Edward Wilkinson in office 1957-1965)?
