The Belhomme house now serving as the district library in Bornova. The building in the 1990s was restored with the financial backing of its former occupant Helene Armand. In the recent past (Summer 2010) there have been plans, soon to be realized, by the local municipality to convert part of the library to a display area to highlight the recent history of domestic and Levantine architecture of this neighbourhood.
