The Evangelistria (Annunciation of Virgin Mary) the Orthodox church that seems to have stood pretty untouched in the fire, probably protected by what appear to be its high walls.
The Evangelistria survived through the 1930s as seen above and below past 1940 when the lake of the fair site was inaugurated. The minor building on the right maybe the former Scotch Mission / Armenian Protestant Church?
